Valves have a straight-thru
flow path, a smaller
footprint, a larger Cv value
and a sealing surface that
is both harder and
protected from wear when
the valve is in the open or
closed position. In some
cases a globe valve may be
used as a sacrificial
throttling valve and the
Power Valve is added
downstream for tight and
reliable shut-off.
