Features

Balls and Seats

Many choices of carbide or ceramic sealing surfaces
Wide choice of high strength and corrosion resistant base materials
including 410SS, 17-4PH, 316ss, 329SS, Stellite 6, Inconels,
Hastelloys, Alloy 20, Monel, Titanium, Zirconium and others.
Each seat is hardened and lapped for a Zero Leakage seal.
Sharp edged seat rings for a clean sealing surface each time the ball
is actuated
Wide sealing area on each seat
Choice of integral or non-integral seats
For our unidirectional valves, down-stream seats are mate-lapped to
the body and captured to prevent behind-the-seat leakage.
A relief or "arcuate cut" is available as an option.

Bearings and Stem Seals

Coated and lapped stem internal stem seals
External stem bushing for proper stem alignment
Grafoil packing rings
Radiused packing follower for even stem loading
Bearings are located on the top and bottom of the stem for precision
alignment.

Nuclear Grade Grafoil Packing

Mounting Flanges for Actuators

Bolted, heavy duty bracket for all levers, gear operators and actuators
Precision aligned with guide pins and stem bushings to prevent side
load of the stem

Gaskets

Spiral wound Gaskets are chosen for most designs from 150# to
1500# ANSI Class. The most common material chosen is Inconel with
Graphoil.
Copeland designed, pressure energized delta rings are chosen
exclusively for ANSI class valves rated over 1500#.
